The Rig Out started in the rain; with three people, a photo shoot and a conversation in field in south Manchester.

Now it’s much more than this, but essentially it’s the same – a group of like minded individuals coming together to talk about a shared interest in culture, music, clothes and art.

The Rig Out now includes; photographers, directors, writers, musicians, designers, craftsmen, artists and adventures.

The group is in London, Tokyo and New York. It involves brands, galleries, design agencies and film companies.

The Rig Out started without any method and is evolving organically, but it never deviates from the position it started from – which is people coming together to make work that they love to make, and to continue the conversation that started in the field in Manchester.
